Cedar Hill RFP

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL -- RFP 2023-100-1 18 THE CITY OF CEDAR HILL Branding & Marketing Services Project A – Citywide Branding | Project B – Cedar Hill Nature Corridor Marketing & Creative Process THE PROJECT BEGINS WITH THE CLIENT – AND ENDS WITH THE CUSTOMER The challenges that MSC hopes to help you solve are your challenges. Therefore, the entire process begins with client interaction. Our job is to help you define the problem, create a cost-effective solution and implement it with continuity. That is how we draw the straight line between the customer and the client. We certainly understand that there will be a need for MSC to go away to the studio and create, but throughout the entire process, the client is involved. Because of that, MSC is universally regard ed as an outsourced “In - House” agency for a majority of our clients. Process – NOT Structure At MSC we understand that each project is unique. The creation of original ideas requires a very free and unincumbered environment. Therefore, we do not follow a structured approach to developing creative solutions. That said, we are a HUGE believer in process. There are always checks and balances that keep a project on strategic track, on budget and on schedule. Form Follows Function A productive creative process requires business discipline. It is very easy to succumb to the temptation to make everything an original, “Out -of-the- Box” campaign. Maloney Strategic Communications is in the business of delivering a positive return on investment! We believe that continuity and frequency are the cornerstones of effective marketing. Just as the rhythm of a good marketing plan makes the effort stronger, a consistent rhythm for producing and implementing marketing materials makes the effort better. Frequency, continuity, and consistency within the City of Cedar Hill ’s marketing efforts are equally critical. It creates an environment that saves time and money! MARKETING IS A PROCESS… BEGIN AT THE BEGINNING Every cl ient is unique. So, every marketing plan is different. It sounds so obvious… but in the business of developing marketing communications solutions, agencies want to use boilerplate solutions and drag and drop programs to develop a marketing plan. It does not work! Every plan needs to be developed on the current state and the long-term goals of the client.
